Jen Guidry > Blog > Filing For Homestead Exemption

Save hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars on your property taxes!

You may apply for homestead exemptions on your principal residence. Homestead exemptions remove part of your home’s value from taxation, so they lower your taxes.

Who Qualifies for Homestead Exemptions

If you purchased an owner-occupied house this year and the home is your principal residence you can file for a homestead exemption!!
