Fox-Guidry Mortgage > JoyfulLivingToday > A Dream Coming True

In late 2019, I wrote about my goals for 2020. One of them was for me to appear on national television as a consultant to talk about mortgage and credit related information. A lofty goal for me…but I could just envision myself doing it. I didn’t (and still don’t) want to do it to be famous, I want to do it so that I can help people.
Time and time again, I see people on the television spewing misinformation about my industry and it’s specifics. I found (and still find) myself watching TV and hearing someone talk that has it all wrong. I want to go out there and tell it like it REALLY is.
Then the pandemic hit and threw a wrench into my carefully laid out plans for my television domination. Ha ha. It just wasn’t my time.
So, I transitioned into doing my Monday Motivation segments on the morning shows here and my goodness, I have loved every minute of it. I love the messages that I get from people that I have touched from my words – all spoken from the heart. It has been definitely worth putting myself out there, unashamedly afraid of talking about God, aging, success and how silly we all can be as people.
And now the time has come for me to do what I dreamed of doing. I am very excited to announce that I will be appearing on 6 episodes of Financing the American Dream television show. It airs on Fox Business, Bloomberg, CNBC, Apple TV, The Travel Channel, Prime and Roku.
It is a lifestyle show that hi-lights real estate’s unsung heroes (loan officers) and gets us to talk about what makes our city great. I am honored to be able to represent our great city of San Antonio. I have some great interviews set up with some amazing people from Military City USA.
And so it begins…a new chapter in my evolution. I don’t know where God will take me on this ride, but I am just going to put on my seatbelt, sit back and smile.
