Why do most people wait until the new year to start making life changes? Why not just start right now?
I’ve thought about this a lot and the only thing that I can think of is that when someone says, “I’ll do this starting January 1st” that means that, well, they aren’t really committed to truly making the change that they want. It is a procrastination technique. Waiting until a specific date to start means that it prolly isn’t going to happen…at least not long term. You might start off with a bang…but it will soon fizzle out because you weren’t serious to begin with…because you would already have started it if you were. You would not have waited.
‘Cause if you REALLY wanted to make a change in your life, you would start right now! Whether it be December 4th or January 4th – if you are truly and fully dedicated to making a meaningful difference, it doesn’t matter what day it is…you will start right now.
What’s stopping you?
You.
Decide. Start now…regardless of the date. If you are truly resolute in your desire to make a change, it won’t matter when in the year it is. You will just do it.

Freakin’ do it NOW! Stop waiting 🙂
