It’s the Happiest Time of the Year!!

I don’t know about you, but I have noticed a lot of agitation building in the air. I can feel it. I think that everyone has had about enough with Covid and its repercussions. All around me, I am seeing tempers flare and people not being as kind as they should be, especially at this time of year.

Hurt, depression, sickness, sadness and death have become ubiquitous. It is difficult to stay positive when it feels like everyone around you is suffering. I find myself feeling guilty sometimes for being ok. 

Right now, it is important for all of us to remember that when someone is mean or rude to us, it is even more important than ever to remember this: It is not about you, it is about them. 

You can’t control what other people do, but you CAN control how you react. When you react with love in your heart, you can help start the ripple that changes everything.

Be the light. Look at things through lenses of love. You have the ability to take someone’s rainy day and make it beam with sunshine. So do it.

All you need is love and grace. God offers you redemption for your sins, He doesn’t react with revenge when you have done wrong. It is time for all of us to do the same. Forgive each other and remember that who ever has wronged you has something going on in their lives or is hurting on the inside. Don’t fire right back…open your heart.
