Fox-Guidry Mortgage > JoyfulLivingToday > My Mission in Life (I think!)

I am an early riser…between 4 and 4:30 every morning. I take my time to read, pray, think, meditate and work out. It keeps me balanced. I have these question cards that I use to make me think about stuff…they pose questions to me and then I am supposed to write about them. They really do make me think about things! Some uncomfortable, some fun. Some things that I really never thought of before.

Today’s was: What is my mission in life?

For me, what I do know is that I am not meant to be someone like Mother Teresa and I am definitely not the philanthropic type that will donate to have libraries and school wings after her. I am just a girl from Buffalo, NY who grew up very blue collar, but always had aspirations of kicking some sort of ass at whatever I did.

I do think that I am meant to be a good influence. I am meant to encourage. I am meant to help others through my gift at being pretty darn good at my career. I am meant to show others that having God in your life is a heck of a lot better than not.

I am meant to change lives somehow…if that makes sense. Whether that be through fighting for someone so that they have a chance to own a home, molding my assistants out of their comfort zones, random money given to those in need,  or encouraging another woman or young girl to keep pushing, trying to succeed and never give up. I am here to show other women that with hard work, gratitude, tenacity and perseverance, you will never be limited in what you do. You don’t have to be privileged to succeed. You just have to have some grit.

Today’s pic…

Sometimes I see this pic and wonder what I was thinking! What I was plotting and dreaming of back then!

This is me on my birthday when I was maybe 4 years old. Sailor outfit and a crown. Thanks mom!!
