What a Difference a Year Makes

Fox-Guidry Mortgage > JoyfulLivingToday > What a Difference a Year Makes
Little me on my birthday! I must have known back then what God had in store for me.
This Saturday will mark the 1 year anniversary of Michael and I being together. It is almost kind of crazy to think that it’s only been a year that we have been together. It sure does feel like forever (in a good way!). As we were snuggling up last night, I started to think about all of the things that have happened in this past year. All I can say is, WOW…what a difference a year can make.
My life is so very different now that it was just 12 short months ago. I am so happy though that I have been able to go through it with my love right by my side.
The pandemic.
Meeting my sweet Michael and falling in love.
Quarantining together.
Realizing that I had the ability to love so deeply and completely.
We bought land together.
We have travelled together.
Almost died from blood clots and heart failure.
We got engaged.
I got stung by a stingray.
Got hospitalized again.
On a cover of SA Monthly Magazine.
Got married.
Became a step-mom to 2 awesome kids.
Started designing a house.
Got articles published.
Featured in San Antonio Magazine 2 times.
Wrote a book.
Became a published author.
Had the best year of my career production-wise.
Got burglarized.
Started my “Motivational Monday” segments on TV
Named one of the Top 50 Most Inspiring Women in San Antonio – Inspiring Woman Book
Got stem cells – and they worked!
Hiked again – when I never thought I would be able to.
Lost my strength.
Regained my strength.
Finally figured it all out…
Thank you, Jesus.
I have had heartache and failure. Success and much happiness. Sorrow and joy. I would not change one single thing. I’ve had a smile on my face the whole time.
What a beautiful thing this life of mine is. The good and the bad, I know that You are always here with me, Lord. There is purpose in everything. All of my experiences have shaped me into who I am today and for that I am grateful.
I am the clay and You are the potter. Without question, I will continue to be molded in Your hands.
